Pantra may normalize grocery item entries to improve comparisons. For example, user entries such as “mlk”, “milk”, or “Milk” may be interpreted as “milk” and matched to a standard product category or default item type when additional details are not provided.

This helps Pantra return more accurate and consistent grocery comparisons.

3. Location Information

Pantra uses location information to identify nearby grocery stores and provide localized price comparisons.

Depending on your device settings and permissions, we may collect:

  • Approximate location;

Location access is optional, but some features may not work properly unless location access is enabled or a ZIP code/location is entered manually.
